Stanley J. Morrow's iconic image of a "Cracker" with reptile, in front of Sinclair's Real Estate Agency at Orange
Avenue and Pine Street about 1885, has inspired a life-size statue outside the Orange County Regional History Center
in downtown Orlando, only a few blocks from the spot where the picture was taken.

Seminole County. It has gown in popularity in the
last couple of years due to the addition of the

LONGWOOD SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA :

Many in Central Florida think of Lake Mary as a relatively
new city in Seminole County, but in fact, Lake Mary has
been around since the 19th century. The city started with 2
tiny settlements both of which were located along the
railroad that connected Sanford and Orlando. Lake Mary
did not become an incorporated city until August 7, 1973
even though the chamber of commerce was established in
1923.

MOUNT DORA SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA:

The City of Mount Dora was established in 1880 when it was originally named Royellou, a combination of the
children's names of one of the City's pioneers. Later taking the name of it's famous lake, and adding the "mount"
because it is elevated higher than most of the Central Florida area, 266 feet above sea level.

A quaint little town just 25 miles northwest of Orlando, Mount Dora seems worlds away from the high-paced action
and adventure of the Orlando theme parks. Known for it's historic Bed and Breakfast Inns, the tranquil little town of
Mount Dora, with it's oak lined streets, rests on the shores of Lake Dora.
